My husband, sweet man he is, surprised me last Friday by taking me out to Wolf Trap to enjoy the National Symphony Orchestra and Kiri Te Kanawa who is an inspiring and beautiful lyric soprano.  It was a perfect evening.  The green lawn was filled with picnickers and the mood in the crowd was warm and electric as we settled into the evening’s musical experience.  As the show came to a close Kiri got three curtain calls, and many were still crying out for “MORE”.
